two missing walkers found in the New Zealand wilderness, 19 days after they set off. Jessica O'Connor and Dion Reynolds, both 23, began walking the kahurangi national park on 9 May, and expected to be gone for six or seven days. But after getting lost in fog they were both injured in a fall.

Interchange

This week we started Interchange,Interchange is when we move around classes and learn about different topics!We do interchange every Monday and I really enjoy interchange because it's a fun change from my class room don't get me wrong I love my class room but I do enjoy change!And i'm really looking forward to carrying on with interchange!

Matariki task 3

Task 3 was making an invite for a maori event!I made an invite to a nice Hangi up at the maerae!What is a hangi you may ask?A hangi is a hot cooked meals such as potato,chicken,stuffing and veges!It i also cooked underground!This is an event that happens when matariki arrives!

As you already know we are doing Matariki tasks this week.For task two I explained what we do for Matariki now!Here it is!

Matariki

This week was Matariki this marks the maori new year so this week we did quiet a few Matariki tasks I did around 7.This my task one for task one I choose to name all the stars and say what they do/have control over!

Pet week

This week was pet week!Pet week is when people bring there pets and show them to the school!There was a variety of different pets like:Horses,Dogs,Cats,Bunny's, a baby goat and lots more!It was fun seeing all the different pets people had my favourite was probably the baby goat!Each pet got separated into different categories such as small,medium and big.All the small pets like mouses and Ginny pigs were held in there owners hands we'll they sat down in lines!Some dogs were not on there pest behaviour and weren't listening to there owners!There were lots of different animals!I felt a little left of as I don't have a pet!But as I saw everyone else's happy faces I didn't feel sad//Left out anymore!I think that this weeks pet day was a success!If I had a pet it would be a baby goat like this one!
