Have you ever wondered?Netflix (part 1)
Have you ever wondered why movies/shows are rated so high??Well I have half the things on Netflix are rated 16/13+ Like stranger things!Stranger things is rated 16+ and I've watched I understand it and it is not scary in any way!I also know many of you have watched it and like it!

I like your thinking about censorship. It is an interesting subject. Why are some shows rated +13 or +16? I think what happens is that people are hired to be be censors and they watch these shows and have a chat with each other and decide on what the rating should be. It must be a big job. Maybe you could send an email to Netflix and ask them what they base their censorship on. That means asking "Why is Stranger Things rated R16?". I know that normal TV shows can censor shows in an easier way, they just show it later at night. R16 shows will not be shown in TV before 8.30. It is much harder to manage other platforms such as Netflix. I suggest you always look after yourself and watch shows/movies which are at an appropriate rating for you. And send Netflix an email, go on, it would be interesting to find out their reasoning.

ReplyDeleteI liked the way you showed a picture of Stranger Things to make it cooler.
This reminds me of when sometimes I watch stuff thats 13+ and 16+. I've watched cat rescues on netflix which are like 13+ and other cat movies.
To improve, maybe you could put that on a google drawing or slide. You could also add some stuff about stranger things because I have never watched it and I have no idea what its about.
What's your favourite movie?
